There are many benefits of modern, gentle chiropractic. This is why we utilize it in our clinic to help patients. Chiropractic has routinely been shown in the medical research to reduce pain faster, cost less, and have longer lasting results compared to traditional conservative medical interventions. Chiropractic address the abnormal motion in the spinal and extremity joints of the body.
When there is abnormal motion in the joints, this puts undue stress on the nerves, muscles, soft tissue structures, and discs. This leads to pain in the aforementioned tissues. The abnormal motion (or biomechanics) have to be addressed to get long-term relief for the patient. Anytime we evaluate a patient, we are looking for the root issues of the patient’s ailment. Many times with pain syndromes, chiropractic is a key component of the overall treatment.
Chiropractic care, along with the other treatments and therapies we provide in our clinic, is very effective at helping with the following conditions:
- Low Back Pain
- Mid Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Herniated Discs
- Bulging Discs
- Protruded Discs
- Slipped Discs

- Pain/Numbness/Tingling In Arms

We utilize several gentle techniques of Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy (CMT) to address the malfunction in the spinal and extremity joints.
I’m scared! Do I have to be “popped” or have my neck twisted?
In short, no. Some patients do not want, or like, to be “popped”. So we utilize a couple of techniques that are gentle and the patient does not hear any “popping”. One technique is called the Thompson technique. This utilizes advanced tables which have “drop pieces”. These particular tables use the momentum of gravity to restore proper motion to the spine. With this technique, patients do not hear a “pop” or have to have their neck twisted. Patients state the treatment is more comfortable.
We also utilize the Activator device. This is a device that delivers a small, very quick movement that restores motion into the joints, but does not create a “pop” noise and is very comfortable to the patient. We do not have to “twist your neck” with this technique either.
However, for those patients that prefer more of the traditional chiropractic treatment where a “pop” is heard, our providers can perform this type of CMT as well.
Whatever your preference of technique, you can let your provider know, and we will deliver what you are most comfortable with.
